I was honestly so excited to see my little nuggets when we returned from winter break! They had the biggest hugs & smiles for me as they arrived. The morning went beautifully…I guess since they were all half asleep & half of them were at the nurse….LOL. I was a little afraid to see what was going to happen after lunch. I kept thinking…..either they were seriously just exhausted or they were just behaving to please me….you know remember all the hugs I got???
After lunch…….I was convinced they were intravenously given straight sugar or their parents all gave them pixie sticks for dessert. Let’s just say…..HOLY MAMA!
Even
though they were exhausting they were eager little learners during
Daily 5. I was super stoked to have them try out the new centers I made.
I just love the look on their faces when I tell them I made it! They
always say it was their favorite…little brown-nosers!
Here is a preview of my Winter-licious unit. I’m super proud of it & worked my big little butt off on it! Click on any pic above or below to check it out. I have each standard listed with descriptions in my store.
Thanks to Tammy from Live Love Laugh in Kindergarten
for making these monthly bin drawer labels. As soon as I saw this on her blog I had to run out & copy. My hubs even put the labels on for me! You can find her labels here!
Just look at how lucky I am! Here is “A” cutting out a 3” stack & was laminating at the same time! I.LOVE.HIM!
I’m getting all off track here………did you see that fabulous chevron rug??? I.AM.OBSESSED. I have been a B.A.D girl since we moved to a new house….I’m mean the shopping…..it’s really bad. I could walk to TJ Maxx or Marshalls if that gives you any indication of the temptation I have to deal with….I cave…of course. Hubs is VERY lucky we don’t have a Home Goods near by. I just started a new chevron pinterest board...come follow me!
The bins WAY above are where I store all my TPT centers I make or purchase on TPT. The bins are labeled by month & they are the perfect size for center storage! They also make me smile every time I walk by them :o) They are just so cute!
To keep myself and the kiddos organized this is how I store all my centers. I print out the cover & accountability sheet & store those in a sheet protector….don’t even get me started talking about sheet protectors! I like to keep the accountability sheet in there so the kids can match it up if there is more than one center going on in word work & it saves me time finding & printing out another sheet when I need to replenish the following year. Of course everything is laminated on card stock. Did you notice the chevron has somehow found it’s way into my centers as well…lol. It makes me happy…what can I say.
Look at this cover…my fave! Peace signs, chevron & penguins!!!!
This “Snow Special Synonym” center.
This is the “Winter-ABC Order” center.
This is the “Chill Out! Real/Silly Word Sort” center.
This is the “Scrambled Sentences” center.
This is the “Peace, Love, & Penguins: Fact or Opinion” Center. |
This is the “Stashing Through the Snow: Verb Tense” center.
This is the “Penguin Parts of Speech” center.
This is the “Let it Snow Syllables” center.
This is the “Snowmates Compound Word Sort” center.
Each ELA Common Core aligned center comes with amazing graphics! I’ve included a title sheet with directions & B&W accountability sheets in all 10 centers.
This is the deal. I will try my hardest to do ELA or Math…or both centers for each month. If you purchased my popular Elf on the Shelf unit you can see I put my all in each center I make. No fluff. I base the centers on what I am doing in my classroom during that time of the year. If you would like to see something specific in February leave me a comment. Even if you don’t have a suggestion show me some comment love!
The first five to comment with their email will receive this 80+ page unit! GOOOOO! Again, thanks for being a faithful stalker.

Great organization. I heart sheet protectors too. I stock up in staples when they have deals. Although I am a blog stalker. At 4am I am sleeping and saving up my energy for my class of special education boys! I wish I would have seen this post and be one of those to win a copy. Boo for me. I want you to know I showed my hubbs your Mr. A cutting out stuff and my hubbs responded…. "huh,, interesting to know I am no the only one doing this stuff!"
Thanks for sharing.

I love your package!!!!! Because of Dibels, I use the term "nonsense" words. Is there a way to get the cute sign that says nonsense words and the paper to say this instead? I would love to buy the package!!
