Expo Giveaway & President’s Day Sale

Some of you may know, or may not know that I am one of the presenters of the upcoming Everything’s Primary Expo. I would like to giveaway THREE tickets to my followers! Don’t worry if you already purchased a ticket, give it to a colleague! If you are like our district there is not much $$$ for professional development so this is a great way to keep up with the educational trends, gain new classroom ideas & reignite your teaching!  Simply comment on this post why you want to attend the Everything’s Primary Expo. I want to know where you can get hours of expert tips & tricks for such a low price! I was so impressed with the Kindergarten Expo! I was so pumped to go back into my classroom on Monday morning to try all the new things I learned. I don’t know about you but the morale in school is pretty low right now. The state is treating us very badly right now & I need a boost to keep reminding myself why I chose this profession, don’t you? That is one reason I started this blog. I needed to keep myself interested in this profession even though all these legislators who are not in the classroom & WILL NEVER know what’s it’s like are trying to chase the good teachers out! I invite any one of them to my 1st grade classroom to show me how it’s done! How about you?  Wow, how did I start talking about that????….whoopsie.

I am currently writing my master's thesis on the use of digital literacies as a means of motivating and engaging both students and teachers… I would love to have this experience to also share with my fellow teachers! thanks for considering me πŸ™‚

  11. First of all, the people that are hosting ARE AWESOME!! I would like to attend because our district has no money for professional development. They have us attend PD on what they think is best for us–but not what is best for our students. (I hope that doesn't come out horrible when read). I would love to gain new ideas to spice up my classroom, so that I could share those with my teammates to help better all of our teaching. Thanks so much.

  14. I would love to attend to learn more about the upper grades and what is expected. I teach Kinder and would love to gain more experience about the other primary grades so I can make sure my little ones are ready! πŸ™‚

  24. I teach first grade in Texas and while I was in Pinterest, I stumbled onto the Everything's Primary site. I downloaded the brochure and sent it to the primary team at my school. I also forwarded it onto our Educational Technology Specialist. I am looking forward to learning new creative ideas when working with struggling readers and I am always looking for creative ways to organize and manage my class. I also was drawn to your blog because my room's theme is Dr Seuss! I haven't read your profile, but I'm wondering if you are also a teacher in Texas. Thanks for all you do! Can't wait to meet with you in the virtual world!

  25. I would love to be able to experience this expo! I am teaching a kindergarten/first grade split class this year (the first one our school has ever had and I'm only a second year teacher that moved out of 3rd grade/FCAT mode from last year!) I would definitely love to learn more and how I can better reach my younger students! πŸ™‚

  28. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to attend this! I am always looking for new ideas to incorporate and share in my classroom. I just recently started teaching math again(first grade). It's been 10 years since doing math and would love to see if there are some new ideas that I can add to my day! Have a fabulous evening!

  37. I would love to attend. I am being evaluted this year. One of the standards of my evaluation is on how I find different professional development opportunites and how I use them in my classroom. This would be great for me! I can't wait to learn some new ideas!

In my building there seems to be a lot of negative feelings lately (the low morale that you wrote about in your blog post sums it up). I think that this would be a great way to generate excitement in teaching again and remind us why we chose this profession!

  49. I would love a ticket to the Everything's Primary expo! I'm a first year teacher in an urban, high needs school and I'm constantly looking for ways to boost what's working and improve what's not. I'm always looking to learn about new management styles and in a community where lots of my kids don't have books at home I would love to learn about ways to push kids to become grade level readers by the end of the year. There are a lot of expectations, but not always a lot of support and I think this expo would be a great way to close that gap a little and help me feel more confident that I can reach those expectations and get my kids on grade level by the end of the year.
