Daily 5 Book Study Calendar

As I am obsessing over this book study I keep thinking of everything we need to keep organized. I made the sheets yesterday to take notes when I stalk follow along on each chapter. If you missed the notes click HERE. 
I’ve received several emails asking how to participate. 
It’s really very simple. All you need to do is follow all of our blogs listed in my announcement HERE.

How it Works: 
Each of us will host a chapter. It will be broken down by grade level. For example, I will be hosting Chapter 1 & Nicole from Teaching with Style (Grade 3) will be hosting the same chapter…the same day. Then each of us will host a linky party inviting other bloggers to share their ideas. I will be linking up to everyone’s Daily 5 linky parties BUT will only be hosting 2 chapters. 

 Click on either picture to print out your very own “fridge copy”. I will be keeping several copies so I don’t miss a thing! 
Nicole from Teaching with Style will be making another organizational book study must have. Stay tuned………..

    I'm a little late in my response – but thanks for being follower #600….how did it take you so long to enter my world!??! LOL. I, unfortunately, am in the thick of things with school still being in session – hence the reason for being relatively blogless until now…it's almost 11:00 here…ugh!

  8. My goodness! I don't know how I missed you before! Thank you for following my blog, and for doing the D5 Book Study! I have had the book for four years, but have not fully implemented it in my k room. I do, however, do the stations/or choices. I like the simplified system for running centers while pulling for small group instruction. I look forward to reading the discussion comments! Best Wishes!

It's clearly time for me to get some sleep so I promise whatever I type this time I will just let be regardless of how it comes out, ha) I am loving your Suesstastic blog!! I found you through Tammy over at Live Laugh and Love Everyday in kindergarten. She shared a link to this book study and I can't wait to participate- such a great idea! I've read the book cover to cover but still have yet to successfully I'm hoping sharing ideas with everyone will help make it happen!   16. I found this book study early one morning while not being able to sleep! I had purchased this book ages ago but hadn't read it because my focus for the past several years has been mathematics. I am happily returning to the classroom next year and am hoping to gain a better understanding of the Daily Five so that I might implement it while still staying true to the expectations of my school board.
