I get lots of emails and questions about how I do things in my classroom. There is never a day that goes by that I don't learn something new or get a tip from another teacher in my school, on IG or FB or in blogland. Do you ever have those "duh" teacher moments? I do. Guess what? The handprint calendar is indeed updated! Yay! You're welcome! Personally, I have not yet started. I work way better under pressure. I did not start until after Thanksgiving last year, moved schools & still was able to get 24 calendars done! Bam! Here is what is brand spanking new this year! The biggest request was to have a boy and girl option. Nikki from Melonheadz heard my whining, begging & pleading all the way from Chicago and gave in to my updates. I.love.her! Val Day Ideas & a FREEBIE!
I just have to share a few new ideas as well as some oldies for your little sweethearts. I have been quite MIA lately, but I am getting all caught up. I can't wait to share pics of my new classroom! It does feel good to start fresh in a brand new school & classroom! I love it & so do my little nuggets. Oh boy! I have been furiously working on this updated calendar. I have made this as a parent gift for years. I have literally had parents in tears over these. Who wouldn't want this treasured keepsake? Can someone please make me one with dog prints??? I have updated this treasure with my favorite graphics from Melonheadz of course. It is so adorable I can't stand it! Have you heard of mybinding.com? Love, love, love my new binding machine. I used this all last year for our weekly class books & now for my newly revamped calendar gifts. Is that my hand? Um, no it's the hubs hand. He is such a good helper & is much more precise than me. The fabulous Freebie-Licious Authors are having a blog hop with loads of freebies! This freebie is a homework pass that I copy on pink or red paper & hand it out to the student. Elf on the Shelf, Gifts, & More!
Here are the babies at 4:30 a.m.! It's official we are on the vampire schedule already! I don't know what it is about NOT having to get up.....I feel like a kid & have to stay up ALL.NIGHT.LONG! I have been getting lots checked off my to do list at least & that is a shocker! I wanted to share some fun we had in the classroom before I started this MUCH NEEDED BREAK..... We got a call from the front office telling us we had a very cold package in the office! After I read the book and we talked about our new surprise the kids went to special. This is where the elf was when we returned. Staring in amazement! Fred changed the lunch choices! Everyone got popcorn! Reading Parts by Tedd Arnold to the Grinch! He left the class some cereal!
