Seusstastic Addition & Subtraction Game & a few new crafty creations
I think I told everyone that I am obsessed with popsicle sticks, right? Well, the obsession continues..... Did you purchase those cute Seuss cups from Target? Now I know what I am going to do with them! I am going to make 4 games so I can have 4 groups going at once! And now here is the subtraction game. My kiddos seem to have a really tough time with math facts but they have a tougher time with subtraction. These can be used in math stations, for math practice before a fact test, for a filler, or even during indoor recess. My kids are ob--sessed with all my stick games! All you need is some cutesy cups, Avery 8167 return address labels & some popsicle sticks. This can be used through 3rd grade I believe. If anyone is interest in multiplication of division games leave a comment & I will make some. Now for some fun projects I made. This started out as a plain icky bulletin board. I sprayed primer around the edges. … [Read more...] about Seusstastic Addition & Subtraction Game & a few new crafty creations

Feeling Crafty? CHECK OUT MY NEW CLASSROOM PROJECTS!
Pin It Ok so I have been feeling awfully crafty lately due to my new obsession that begins with a "P"...can you guess?? Yes PINTEREST. Pinterest=Crack in my eyes. I thought I was obsessed with blogging well I am, still, but now I have added another obsession to the list. I haven't seen anything that I made pinned on Pinterest or anything..I just pin all day & all night & I got in the car & it just drove straight to Joann Fabrics! Ok so here is what I made yesterday. I snagged this from Office Depot after they only let me buy the minimum of 10 folders! So I figured they ARE going to give me something for wasting my time :o) So I took a few of these...not sure what I was going to do. Then like I said my car just drove itself to Joann & I bought the 12x12 tie dye scrapbook paper you see next to this ugly box. And I also bought my new BFF.... And the obsessive behavior began. Actually I was already friends with Modge Podge in some other … [Read more...] about Feeling Crafty? CHECK OUT MY NEW CLASSROOM PROJECTS!
Christmas Craft Linky Party
Pin It TBA is hosting a Christmas Crafts Linky Party! This motivated me to recreate & update the handprint calendar that I make for a parent Christmas gift. We usually get started the first week in September. Here are some pictures of the project. It's a darling keepsake and the parents RAVE about it! I have had mom's call me crying! We are not allowed to request money for projects so this is what I came up with. It's way cuter than anything we have ever done & it's FREE. It just entails a lot of work but with the help of volunteers and classroom aides it gets done & the end product will be treasured for a lifetime. This is the front cover which I changed. We usually will put the child's school picture on the front & have them sign their name. Then we glue the cover on a piece of construction paper & laminate.
