They love the fact that they had so much input on each & every one of these. I also interviewed previous students who are now in upper elementary on coupons they would want. I have no clue what those old kids like...ha! Before you ask.... here is what this intrinsic classroom management reward system is all about & what is included............. My Reward Coupons Set 1 is my BEST SELLER! And they are also one of the top sellers on TPT. Filling Your Hearts!
The fabulous Freebie-Licious Authors are having a blog hop with loads of freebies! This freebie is a homework pass that I copy on pink or red paper & hand it out to the student. I will also attach an additional Val Day treat to it. These are "love notes" that they get to write during "Work on Writing" in Daily 5. I have this cute little pink mailbox that they put them in when they are finished. They can write to their friends, teachers, parents, siblings, etc. This is their favorite thing to do during "Work on Writing". Click on any pic to grab your freebie. Click on the blog hop button above to grab your next freebie from the fabulous Donna Glynn of Kinderglynn! So here is a brand new product I created. My kids are O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D with coupons...I wonder why. Anyway, I made a coupon book for them this year for Val Day. Penguin Day, 100th Day & Val Day Student Gift!
So a few of my teammates & I decided at the last minute to dress up like penguins....I know what you're thinking. Anyway, I ordered a penguin costume from Amazon & thought a miracle would happen & it would come the next day....um. no. So I went to Walmart with a vision of what I wanted to do but knew it needed to be done by the next day. At Walmart I found an over-sized hooded sweatshirt for about $5! Yes, $5! Love Walmart but have never purchased an article of clothing there. I could NOT believe how cheap!!!! I also bought a REALLY hideous pair of fuzzy slippers in the kids section that JUST fit my little mexican feet. They had a huge-a** massive pink bow on the back that I was ready to cut off before I even checked out. They were black...they were fuzzy....they worked. I had to bribe the hubs & my BFF to help me. After a few cold ones and watching me in a state of panic at 8 pm....they gave in & helped. Here is my friend on the top right … [Read more...] about Penguin Day, 100th Day & Val Day Student Gift!
100th Day, Penguin Ideas & a FREEBIE!
We are not celebrating the 100th day for several weeks but I wanted to put some pics up from last year. This is a sign I made that was hanging in our doorway. I did this super quick on my smartboard. I designed a sign that I will display for them when they walk in. You will have to read further. I have always done the 100th day snack. Each child is assigned what to bring so we don't wind up with 10 bags of pretzels. This way there is a variety that they can choose from. Then we do all kinds of math activities after we sort our snacks. My ultimate favorite creation! Since I taught kindergarten I have had the students come to school wearing something with 100 on it. I've had sooooooo many really creative ideas & I will have to see if I have pics of all of them. The one above & below are all from last year. Aren't those fun??? I can't wait to see what this class comes up with! I always tell them … [Read more...] about 100th Day, Penguin Ideas & a FREEBIE!
Winter-licious Fun!
I was honestly so excited to see my little nuggets when we returned from winter break! They had the biggest hugs & smiles for me as they arrived. The morning went beautifully...I guess since they were all half asleep & half of them were at the nurse....LOL. I was a little afraid to see what was going to happen after lunch. I kept thinking.....either they were seriously just exhausted or they were just behaving to please me....you know remember all the hugs I got??? After lunch.......I was convinced they were intravenously given straight sugar or their parents all gave them pixie sticks for dessert. Let's just say.....HOLY MAMA! Even though they were exhausting they were eager little learners during Daily 5. I was super stoked to have them try out the new centers I made. I just love the look on their faces when I tell them I made it! They always say it was their favorite...little brown-nosers! Here is a preview of my … [Read more...] about Winter-licious Fun!
