Elf in the Classroom Linky-Week 2

So I found these itty-bitty-teeny-weeny-little-nugget fuzzies at Michael's. They were so little & cute I just had to have them. I also found these itty bitty containers when I was packing. I knew I would use them for something...viola!  I wanted to stuff Cubert into the fuzzy container but that didn't work out so he sat in it. All I remember is writing the note when I was really mad at them. I will be honest. They are a little nutso over this elf & it's kind of having the reverse effect. I am tired. This whole elf in the classroom gig I have going is exhausting. I ended up filling those little containers full of those itty bitty fuzzies & referred to them all week. I ended up giving three away to the three that had excellent behavior. I thought there would be tears...but no. They didn't care.  "Twiz" the season to be on your best behavior! Raise your hand if your little nuggets are cra-cra already! OH.MY.WORD. I am all for the elf in the classroom.....it does get them all hyper....I know....BUT......we are creating memories for them. November & Oh My… it’s December?

So my much needed Thanksgiving break is over....BIG OLE WAH...(visualize me kicking, screaming & yelling "I don't want to go back to school!") True story. Anyhoo, I thought I'd share some November fun we had with photo props & some other fun stuff. Most of the photo props I use is simply clip art that I blow up & print out on card stock. Michael's and Dollar Tree are always my favorite places to drop by to purchase little props. The favorite item was........ The hats.....oh.my.word the hats. They were too cute on them! No shame with my little nuggets! The hats pictured above came from Target dollar spot but they were actually $3 each. The props in this photo you can grab for free from datingdivas.com. Native American Headband Freebie & More!

I whipped up this freebie for my little nuggets turkeys last night. I would love for you to grab it for your own students or children. I just LOVE how DIFFERENT they turned out. Each & every headband has their own little personality. I made three different options to choose from. I copied some feathers on different colored construction paper & even offered my old feather patterns to trace onto scrapbook paper.  I needed to make a sample & the girls & boys asked where the chevron paper was. Uh-oh. I couldn't let them drool over my chevron & not share. Since I have been cleaning house for our big move, I thought I'd pull out some & share. Handprint Calendar

Oh boy! I have been furiously working on this updated calendar. I have made this as a parent gift for years. I have literally had parents in tears over these. Who wouldn't want this treasured keepsake? Can someone please make me one with dog prints???  I have updated this treasure with my favorite graphics from Melonheadz of course. It is so adorable I can't stand it! Have you heard of mybinding.com? Love, love, love my new binding machine. I used this all last year for our weekly class books & now for my newly revamped calendar gifts. Is that my hand? Um, no it's the hubs hand. He is such a good helper & is much more precise than me.
